Surf wala is one of the most popular places for surfing in Goa. Located on Arambol beach in North Goa, Surf wala training facility has a lot of trained international instructors available for amateur surfers.

Banana Surf school

Just a couple of miles away from Arambol beach, Banana Surf school is yet another place on Ashwem beach where one can go surfing in Goa. They also have a dedicated restaurant with a sea view where one can have a fine dining experience.

Aloha surf school

Pioneered by veteran surfer and ISA-certified Velumurgan, fondly called Velu, Aloha surf school is the latest entrant to the Goa surf scene. It’s on the beautiful Agonda beach, and I find it easy to miss, so look for a yellow graffiti of a langur surfing.

These facilities or institutes for surfing in Goa are some of the most veteran surfers, and the training they give is of high quality. The prices for these lessons are completely based on the private institutes and may vary from time to time.

  • The average price for one surfing lesson is Rs. 3000/- per head.
  • One surfing lesson lasts for one hour.
  • The surfer board rental is charged separately.
  • The rental for surfer board is approximately Rs. 400.
  • One can opt to take single lessons or a complete week package for a slightly discounted rate.

Making the plan

Surfing, however thrilling and fun may seem, is quite a difficult sport and at times dangerous too. It requires a lot of efforts, and even seasoned surfers face problems at times.
