What is snorkeling?
Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a water body while equipped with a diving mask, a breathing tube called as snorkel, and usually swim-fins. Occasionally in cooler waters, a wetsuit is advisable. Using a snorkel, the snorkeler can breathe easily underwater and can explore the underwater marine life easily. The main purpose of snorkeling is an opportunity to observe the underwater life in its natural setting, without the complicated equipment and training required for scuba diving. Just to add a little twist, snorkeling is also done by professional snorkelers to play underwater sports like underwater hockey and underwater rugby.
