Spice House – Family Restaurant with Bar
Spice House is a simple place for casual fine dining in Porvorim, Goa. Even though the place is not very fancy, all the variety of food that it serves is great in quality. The Spice House restaurant serves Goan, Indian, Tandoor, Chinese and Continental cuisine and has a full bar menu as well. There is a lot of simplicity about the place, whether it is in the ambiance, the setup of the place or the presentation of the food. The restaurant has an old charm about it. Spice House, is a multi cuisine dining restaurant and bar lounge. Its one of Goa’s most Portuguese style family fine dining place.
The seating arrangement is divided in AC and Non-AC section so the guests have a choice of seating. The service at this place is average. The non vegetarian dishes at the place are better reviewed than the vegetarian ones here. The food is very reasonably priced. So if you are looking for a simple place, that serves good food at reasonable prices, Spice House has all three of these features.

Spice House actually serves quite a few cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, Continental and Tandoor but Goan dishes served here are the most famous among the guests who visit the place. While the presentation of the food is not very outstanding, the taste is quite good and the prices reasonable. The portions of the food served are quite decent too. Some of the dishes that are a must try here are Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Lollypop and Vegetarian Biryani.

It is a good place to get food that is tasty and not very expensive as well. The indoor seating with AC is more comfortable and quiet than the non-AC space in the restaurant. We tried a few dishes here like the Goan King Fish Curry and Chicken Carfreal and found them to be good in taste.
