Kadamba Canteen is a simple place with no frills and laces. It is very neat and clean and well kept in hygienic conditions. The staff is very friendly and the service is quite quick. There is no better place in Goa if you are looking to get your money’s worth. The authentic Goan food is available at steep low prices. Do not forget to order their signature Goan or Fish thali. The thali is a complete meal that has a dry fish snack, fish and prawns in gravy besides the quintessential chapattis and rice. In Kadamba Canteen there is a portion of sweets as well.

Kadamba Canteen is a place that is known for its simplicity. The place serves authentic Goan food. There is not much variety in cuisine but the menu is varied. Thalis are their signature offerings. You can get Goan thali, fish thali and veg thali as well and all of these at very low prices. Fish thali can be as low as Rs.60 but can go up depending on the fish that you choose. The vegetarian thali is available for Rs. 40. You can get extra rice or chapattis on additional payment. Other popular dishes are spicy squids, masala prawns and fish fry.
