This cathedral was built to celebrate the victory of Portuguese ruler Afonso de Albequerque for capturing a Goan city in 1510. Displaying a Portuguese-Manueline architectural style, the church has Tuscan exteriors and Corinthian interiors. St. Alex Church

This is a massive church built by the local village communities in 1741. The highlights of this church are its dome and two towers. There are numerous feasts hosted at this church which are quite popular. An interesting aspect of this church is that it was built on the site of a Hindu temple.
